As Embryo #836 is one of the best examples in the Carnegie collection
it has been the subject of many studies. Several reconstructions were
made by Osborne O. Heard and H. M. Evans, using methods developed by Gustav
Born.
These models have been used in studies of embryonic development and are
illustrated in the monograph "Developmental Stages in Human Embryos",
by Ronan O'Rahilly and Fabiola Müller.
