These videos are taken from the studies of Hooker (1952, 1958) and Humphrey (1964) on the appearance of human reflexes resulting from cutaneous stimulation. After removal from the uterus the living embryos and fetuses were placed in a warm biological solution under a motion picture camera and touched in various places with a hair. The reflex responses were recorded on 16 mm motion picture film. Crown-rump lengths (CRL) were used to determine estimated post fertilization ages.
