Starting the DVD/CD

  1. This DVD-ROM/CD-ROM was designed on a 800 MHz Pentium III computer running Windows 2000. The minimum recommended configuration is a 350 MHz Pentium with a 32x CD-ROM . It will run on slower systems but loading the higher magnification images may be prohibitively slow. It will not run on some older computers running Windows 95.
  2. The pages are designed to be viewed with an Internet Browser. To view the contents of this disk you will need to have a Internet browser installed on your computer. Most of the screens have been optimized for viewing with Internet Explorer (Version 6 or greater). The pages have also been tested on several other browsers, including FireFox, Safari and Opera. Most features of the disks should work on these browsers but there may be some formatting errors. The Browse feature does NOT work in Google Chrome

3. The DVD/CD should start automatically in anything newer than Windows 95. N.B. The AutoStart feature does not work on Macs.
4. If the program does not start when the DVD/CD is inserted it can be started manually in a number of ways.
5. All files can be copied, saved and edited. Copying the entire disk to your hard disk will increase the speed of the image downloads.
