Starting the DVD/CD

This DVD-ROM/CD-ROM was designed on Windows machines, not all features of the disks may work on machines running under other operating systems. It will not run on some older computers running Windows 95.
The pages are designed to be viewed with an Internet Browser. The software was developed using Internet Explorer ( version 6.0 or newer). Other browsers will work but not all features of the disks may work in all browsers e.g. section browsing does not work in current vesions of Google's Chrome browser (Jan-2011). Other browsers that have been tested with this software include, FireFox, Safari, and Opera.

3. The DVD/CD should start automatically in anything newer than Windows 95. N.B. The AutoStart feature does not work on Macs.

4. If the program does not start when the DVD/CD is inserted it can be started manually in a number of ways.

Open the DVD drive by double clicking on its icon in the "My Computer" window. Double click on the html file called "StageX".

Open an Internet browser (> NN 4.0 or > IE 5.0). Select "work offline" from the file menu. Select "open page" in the file menu and "browse" to the DVD-ROM drive. Select the file "StageX".

5. All files can be copied, saved and edited. Copying the entire disk to your hard disk will increase the speed of the image downloads.
